Resolution
Refunds and disputes
Return of funds and dispute resolution follow the signed escrow agreement and SPA — documented through the Trading Portal, not informal messaging.
DieselFOB.com is a product-specific trading website operated by ALGHAF MARINE DMCC.
Refund path
Refunds are processed only when contractual conditions in the escrow agreement and SPA are met. The appointed independent escrow agent — not Alghaf Marine alone — authorises return of locked funds.
- Refund trigger identified — A contractual event occurs that entitles the buyer to return of funds (for example, failure to meet an agreed condition before release).
- Documentation submitted — The qualifying party uploads supporting evidence to the Trading Portal in accordance with the escrow agreement procedure.
- Escrow review — The appointed independent escrow agent assesses whether the documented conditions for refund are satisfied.
- Return address confirmed — Refund is issued only to the buyer's pre-verified return address registered in the Portal.
- Refund executed and recorded — The settlement operator processes the return; the transaction ledger and audit trail are updated.
Dispute procedure
Disputes relating to product quality, documentation or milestone completion are handled through the documented procedure in the SPA and escrow agreement:
- Objections must be lodged through the Trading Portal within the SPA review period
- Supporting grounds and evidence must accompany any objection
- Release is held pending resolution when a substantiated objection is recorded
- The appointed independent escrow agent acts on documented conditions — not on verbal instructions
- Resolution may involve further inspection, supplementary documentation or contractual escalation as defined in the SPA
General information only. Actual refund triggers, dispute timelines and resolution mechanisms are defined in the signed SPA, escrow agreement and Trading Portal record for each transaction.
