FOB delivery basis
Under FOB terms, risk and title transfer when cargo passes the ship's rail at the confirmed loading berth or anchorage. Alghaf Marine coordinates allocation, terminal interface and loading operations in line with the signed contract.
- Buyer nominates acceptable vessel subject to desk approval
- Loading location stated in the official offer — not published as open inventory
- Inspection at load port under agreed scope (SGS, BV or equivalent)
- Shipping documents issued per Incoterms and SPA
- Settlement milestones aligned to contractual loading stages
Process
Typical FOB execution path
- Commercial offer — volume, delivery window, loading context and inspection scope.
- SPA and escrow — signed contract with independent escrow structure.
- Vessel nomination — buyer submits vessel particulars for desk acceptance.
- Allocation notice — batch allocated; loading schedule communicated via Portal.
- Inspection and loading — quality verification and cargo transfer on board.
- Documentation and release — B/L and supporting docs; escrow release per milestones.
